Research beforehand.

Don't assume that Google has 90% market share.

Different countries have different um different search engines.

We all know about China, we know about Russia, but a lot of people don't really know.

A common misconception also with Japan is people think that Yahoo is majority shareholder.

That's actually not true.

Google is primary.

So in that case, it's kind of business as usual.

But it's weird because with the rise of just large language models these days, that's basically on everyone's mind.

And that's basically the main thing that people want to talk to me about is how to adapt.

But then I also work a friend of mine, he uh uh he works in France, and so I've been just helping him and coaching him.

And over in France, you don't actually have AI overviews, or at least yet on whenever this podcast recorded, June 5th, AI overviews are not present.

Uh maybe, who knows?

By the time it launches, they're they're in France, and then this comment is useless.

But so basically you you have to be with all the changes happening and the

differences in in uh search engine market share, you have to do research and understand these different nuances.

You can't come in and expect that, for example, in in France, AI overviews are everywhere.

It's like, no, no, you're still dealing with a gold rush of high traffic.
