It's been well reported that I've been unashamedly out trying to get people to join up and get involved.
It's hard work at the moment because people are like, well,
You know, what are you offering?
What are you doing?
But the vision has been to give the party back to the membership, and it's done that.
For a long period of time, I think, that was the lip service version.
But in actual fact, you'd find that the parliamentarians were pulling the strings.
Now, people would say, well, I keep reading that's you.
And the reality is it's never been more in control by members.
The members now are back, I think, increasingly to where it used to be that there are –
you know, sort of groups of members that are running their own show around the state.
And we hope we will just, you know, continue to sort of pump in decent candidates.
We had a heap at the last federal election.
We just couldn't get them elected.
People like Irina Zaglidov and Dan Wild, who was excellent out in Spence, you know, some really sort of genuine kind of true-boo liberals.
But, you know, you've got to get them elected as well.
So...
that's the idea we want members in so that we can get the right people true liberals and uh and try and keep um you know keep those because you know i mean i need i need help i need help in canberra you know there's there's good ones obviously lots of good liberals but you know we need we need as many good people as we can get yeah and um it's always really you know it's
So it comes back to the kind of the basis of left and right.
You know, the left of politics, Labour and the Greens believe in collectivism.
