I need community to make them happen.

And so I got that in the residency.

I got that like

the feedback from peers, even if it was scant, was necessary.

That kind of ecosystem where we reflect off of each other, we kind of like rub off on each other, even if we don't really mean to.

Like, oh, that material, like never thought of that.

Oh, what could I do with that material?

Not using it the way you're using it, but now I've got a new application for something I'd never

considered or even knew was a possibility just because I saw it somewhere in a totally different application.

So I think there was a real drive for wanting a community of mature peers.

I think I looked at some other communities.

I was a part of a few other communities, but I never felt like I had a group of people that were similar to me.

And

Network has a pretty broad base, but I would say there's a significant group of people that are kind of this mid-career slash emerging, re-emerging.

And within that, I felt like when I joined Netvert, I found kinship in that and I found support in that.

And I found people that, you know, we could share not acceptances, but also rejection.

I felt like there was one group of us.

There's some of the in real life groups that get together.

And the New York group is particularly strong.
