I didn't like to, you know, fear the unknown.

And I realized the only way to get over fearing the unknown was to know what it was you were afraid of.

So I've always been one of those types of people that just hit something head on.

And that way you eliminate anything that might stop you.

Just, you know, not being prepared maybe for a circumstance.

My situation was where I was signed up for things that I don't remember signing up for.

I was put into dance.

I was put into softball.

And they were experiences, but I was never asked.

What would you like to do?

Who are you really?

And I find there's a lot of that goes on and people get stuck in confusion, not knowing who they are, what they really want to do.

I'd like to take people back to their authenticity.

What excites them?

What are they strong in?

What do they have an interest in?

And to build on that.

Well, I didn't know them before I was adopted by them, so they were strangers, but it wasn't a family connection.

I was the child that went through the process, you know, going to the agency and I guess being handpicked.

I can say that they matched me very well with my family that I grew up in.
