He's wearing a brace that is meant to contain how far his hand bends back because that's when he starts getting the pain back and starts getting to the point where he's not able to fall through on a swing.

And that's a difficult thing to kind of play through.

And he's not making excuses.

He just says, look, this might be something that I have to deal with all season long and have to figure out my way through it.

But, you know, he's not there yet.

And so I think you've seen him not impacting the ball the way that he can.

And I don't know if that is a direct correlation.

Is that a byproduct of some hesitancy in the swing?

Is it just that you just can't get there?

you know, that, that only he knows for sure.

But, you know, I, I think like a lot of guys, he is somewhat, somewhat physically compromised and that's preventing him from performing the way that he can.

We were talking with Kevin Gosman yesterday, and he was saying in 23, when he was named to the team, he chose not to go.

And he would have had a chance to pitch in that game, but he felt like he needed the break physically, so he didn't end up going.

And he said that John Schneider and Pete Walker were actually trying to convince him to go because their point was, you never know when you're going to get back there, and it lines up for you to get an inning and all those things.

But he felt physically he needed to be there.

And I think with Guerrero in this case, it's just the back's been bothering him for a while.

He's obviously not having a great year.

He's probably more beat up than he's even telling us because he generally doesn't like talking about that stuff.
