And uh it's just been really nice to be in that position.
So I definitely don't think we're where we're
we wanna be, we're growing still, we're trying new things and that's why we're so excited to come to New Zealand.
But uh the the future's looking bright.
You know, I think this was something that's always been wanted in the sport, but no one really knew how to bring it about or could pull the right strings or levers to get it done.
And I just kind of found myself in this perfect position where I had retired.
I had a lot of, you know, um insight on the sport from the competitor side of things, but I also knew all the uh, you know, mountain owners and operators.
I knew plenty of sponsors, I knew, you know, a way to
get this done and I I I set my path.
I've I found some amazing investors and people that would back us and, you know, really started this thing.
But, you know, any competitor I feel like
you know, you you know that that there's a ticking thought of you can only do a sport for so long competitively.
And I think as I started to make my way towards retirement, I was like, Well, what's next?
You know, how can I still be involved in a sport that I love so much?
And and this was just this natural kind of segue.
Yeah, I mean it's a great question.
Basically when I started, you know, uh
the half pipes and things were dug by hand and shovel and a lot of the mountains didn't really want snowboarders around.
It was a bit of a rebellious sport.
Um coming into this like luxury ski community, uh, you know, is always just a a sport for the for the wealthy.
