And now of a sudden you got this r rebellious sport of snowboarding showing up.
And so a lot has changed.
And now, you know, mountains that that used to maybe not want snowboarders around are competing for
for who has the best snowboard park or terrain park and and all the way up to, you know, Olympic uh gold medalists, myself and others.
And you have these amazing talented athletes like Eileen Gu, um, you know, female skier who's won multiple gold medals.
She's now one of the third, second or third highest paid female athletes in the world.
So
You know, we're not talking about
your everyday athlete.
I mean these are these are these are really big stars in the sport and now uh through the snow league they have a you know tour that can sustain them in between Olympic seasons.
So uh excuse me Olympic Olympic events.
Yeah.
Well for me I was I think I was the generations just after that.
You know, like there was a there's some some stars and and people that had laid the the groundwork or less the a bit of a runway for me and then I was able to take it to that next place.
I think, you know, by the time I was um
fifteen I was attempting to go to my first Olympics.
Um so that that became a reality for me and you know it changed the sport d dramatically.
I mean, like I said, most resorts didn't want snowboarding around.
They just didn't understand the sport.
Um and now they're fighting to have uh the snowboarders at their mountains and and really catering to advertising to them.
