Right.

Um, and so anyways, those are some of the reasons that I really like Act.

Um, and then it fits in really well with transitions.

For sure.

Um, because a lot of the time parents end up um with good intentions, you know, like you're just trying to help them, um, dismissing it and saying things like you're okay, um, and like trying to push aside the feelings.

Uh and I think what we're missing there is that the goal is not that we don't have big feelings.

The goal is that we can support the child through the feelings.

And I wanna do that, right?

So that you can do hard things.

Yeah, but I think that's also like a really good point, right?

Like back to school is so hard on parents too, right?

Like I've got to get to work.

I've got all this stuff I have to do, which like maybe was a little bit more lax in the summer, or we had different routines, regardless.

Um, and so as a parent, I'm probably overwhelmed.

Yes.

And so by having these phrases, either that you've like taken the time to write out, so they're like maybe fresh on your brain, or you've read them in the morning, you know, helps you be ready too, because we are also overwhelmed.

And so you might not be doing your best.

And so you might.
