Stamped them out all over the West, franchised.
Some of those worked.
Here we are, a bunch of 20-year-olds trying to operate in the most sophisticated real estate in the US.
Failures and successes.
And won a million dollars on TV with Richard Branson, like you mentioned.
That led to venture capital.
That led to...
them wanting to reorganize our company uh through chapter 11 get out of bad locations start over anew that was painful and ugly and and embarrassing and now you know we're kind of like in 2006 range invented sectionals because in that first store there was a couch to look pretty people kept asking about the couch from store number one and it led us to invent sectionals this modular sofa that
changes and rearranges and can be with you for the rest of your life, actually, if you choose to continue to adapt it.
And that's led to this design philosophy called Designed for Life, where everything we make now is adaptable and changeable and allows it to grow with you.
We call it built to last a lifetime and designed to evolve.
And that's led to, I think, the most sustainable solutions for furniture.
And now we have plenty of new stuff coming.
We're at like 300 locations nationwide.
We went public in 2018.
7X the company since coming public at $100 million then.
We're at, you know, call it $700 million now.
And trying to grow into the billions by chasing our purpose, which is to inspire humankind to buy better stuff so they can buy less stuff.
Which
weird thing for a company that makes stuff to say.
