And I did take a quick look at the Milpitas Measure K initiative that was approved in 2016.

Are there any similarity?

What was the background for that, for the Milpitas initiative?

It happened in 2016.

Circumstances were different.

We didn't have a housing element then.

We didn't have pressure to build X number of units then.

So I wasn't clear what triggered the Measure K initiative.

And my only other concern, Mayor, was are we hamstringing future councils?

As we know, there's been a big change from 2016 to now.

Rules change, circumstances change, and our city situation changes.
