the nature of horse people exposes how much insecurity there truly is because if you are that influenced by someone else's decisions for themselves and for their horses where it makes you feel insecure in your own decisions that's a sign that you might not be acting within your own interests and your own morality and what actually feels good to you because if you are

someone else's decisions that aren't harming anyone or any animals shouldn't impact you.

But they do.

Well, yeah, like, how dare you have keep horses and not ride them?

Completely.

And also, the growth that you mentioned, like,

people view it in a way where it's like your growth and your training and your goals, they have to be tangible and visible to other people.

Yeah.

And like impressing other people and impressing other people.

Your passion to something that's about serving other people.

Cause I found that same thing where it's like,

I have been through a lot of trauma over the last like many, many years.

Like, and it's been like complex trauma, one thing after the other consistently and stuff that's largely out of my control.

Cause a lot of it was when I was a child that I couldn't leave.

And then even when I technically could leave, it was choosing between being able to have access to horses and moving out and paying to live on my own and probably losing access to that.

So I felt trapped within a lot of that stuff.

And it's like, now that I'm dealing with it and I'm going to therapy, I'm realizing that what I dealt with is not what,

many average people have dealt with it, that it is a lot.

And I've really stepped back from how much I do with my horses now, because I also have a lot of horses.
