I think it kind of depends, like, your school.
At least, like, I know, like, it's such a huge thing with, like, the Southern schools of, like, if I don't get a sorority, like, my college life is over with.
And, like, that definitely shouldn't ever be the case.
But I don't... I mean...
I think it kind of depends on, like, if your intentions are to be part of a top house or, like, you think that it's going to, like, get you into all the frat parties and going to get you, like, little, I don't know, social media, like, glimpse spotlight.
Like, you shouldn't do it just to have, like, the sorority name in your Instagram bio and, like, those little, like...
kind of other perks, I guess.
It should be more about, like, I'm joining because, like, I need to know that I'm having, like, a close-knit group of friends who I can rely on and trust and are going to essentially help me get through college.
College is not fun all the time.
And, like, you need the people to back you up and be there for you through it.
And if, like, you're not doing it for those reasons, then I would look elsewhere.

SDSU is so interesting to me because the Top House thing is, like, huge there.
Like, when I visited my friend, I had to, like, have a fake Pi-Fi, like, GroupMe, that's what it was called, GroupMe account to, like, get in.
Do you feel like that makes people there, like, overly care about the Top House, considering you can, like, only go into parties if you're, like, in one of those Top Houses?
I think maybe it's just a little bit different in my experience joining later, but...
I definitely, when I graduated high school and saw all my friends joining sororities, I definitely think that the bigger consensus was joining just to meet people.
And then obviously there was a couple of people that joined specifically because they wanted to be in that sort of status position and have the name or the Instagram bio change.
And they cared a lot more about that.
