And it was going to be something wonderful.

I know I was going to miss something wonderful.

I literally couldn't make it out the door.

It's that kind of thing.

I was saying no to dinner parties.

I was saying no to going to events with friends.

I was saying no to going anywhere alone, anywhere alone.
