It was taped.
So that was an experience I had.
And I think that's the reality of it for sure.
I always say doing the things that you fear undoes the fear, like the act of doing it.
And it's very hard to realize that before you do it.
It really is.
It just seems insurmountable.
And I started with, you know, obviously two things that were very big, but they were small in the sense of it was literally just one step in front of the other.
Just do this little piece of this and do this little piece of this.
You know, it's so interesting because the yeses are mostly internal and mental.
Really?
Yes.
You start out with these big things, but the reality of it is, is even saying yes to a commencement speech is really saying yes to the idea that I'm going to commit to this idea of saying yes.
Everything gets smaller.
Saying yes to my health did turn out to be a pretty big one.
And that was really, I was, you know, I think I'm beautiful at any size that I am.
And I generally would fight anybody who would say anything otherwise, but I felt horrible.
Like physically, I had gotten to a size and a weight that I felt physically bad all the time.
And so I decided that I had to figure out like what to do about this.
And so I decided to say yes to my body, like yes to my health.
