Now, it's not like a job where if I worked in sales, for example, like I was a real estate agent, that your salary can increase as you work more.
If you're a doctor, your salary increases if you work more.
Those options were not available.
And so if you are in a career where you know that your salary will tap off,
Often things like being a teacher or being, it's usually government related jobs, like being a teacher or being a nurse at a publicly funded hospital.
Oh my God, those were such stereotypically woman roles.
Being an architect, being an engineer at like a small law firm, those kind of roles kind of taper off a little bit faster.
And so for those people, when you own a business, the sky is truly the limit.
And I cannot stress like the amount of money I have seen people, women specifically make as business owners is like astronomical.
It is so incredible.
not what I expected.
Like I didn't have a lot of business woman in my life growing up.
Everyone around me were like, like my parents, like teachers or engineers, just like nine to five jobs.
And the only people that were business owners were like the uncles that owned a petrol station or owned like a stationary shop and kind of like more service-based stock-based businesses.
And nowadays, like I've met a woman that owns a recruiting agency that makes hundreds of thousands of dollars in salary.
I've met a woman that has like an e-commerce business.
I've met a woman that has a business where they sell like drinks that are good for your gut health.
Like all these businesses are incredible and amazing.
Not necessarily the ones that I've just mentioned, but like some of these women take home $400,000 a year, $500,000 a year, $600,000 a year.
