I know one or two women, their business generates so much revenue that they're taking home almost a million dollars a year as a salary.
Let that just sink in.
That is huge.
And yes, they're working hard, but I would not say they are working harder than when I was an optometrist.
And I'm not saying that I'm now working harder than when I was an optometrist.
People that work a nine to five job work very, very hard.
And people that own businesses also work very, very hard.
And these like two groups of women are not necessarily like one works harder than the other.
And therefore she should like earn more.
It's just the risks you take on and the leverage you have.
When you own your own business, you're building equity and you're building leverage and you are able to
Put yourself in a position where other people come in, you teach them how to do what you do, and you can scale a business.
And when you scale a business, suddenly you're doing the same work.
You're still putting in the same amount of hours, but you're making a lot more.
And a good example of this in terms of like a podcast sense is if you think of like the Friends That Invest podcast, I jump on, I talk, hopefully it's of use.
Sometimes it's not.
And then I upload it.
And that's the same amount of work every single week.
But if I'm good at what I do, the amount of people that listen grow and grow and grow, the ad revenue that we get from that grows and grows and grows.
And there's no cap on that.
