And I think

you know, I've spoken to, you know, devout Catholics, I've spoken to members of the clergy and, you know, there is this sort of hope and they talk about hope that, you know, despite the fact that they know full well that in some ways it's making, they would maybe say it makes a mockery of what they're trying to do.

There's a hope that some children will get that message and carry it on.

And I think, you know,

you know, some of them are kind of emboldened by some things that are happening, as you can say, you know, on social media at the moment with people returning to the church and so on.

So, you know, I can see exactly why they would want to, you know, keep running schools.

I mean, it's the tradition, give me the boy, I'll show you the man or whatever the slogan is.

I can totally understand it.

However...

The problem is that, you know, we have to respect, has to work both ways.

You know, there's families like mine, families like many others out there don't want the message shared to us, you know, and I think that could be respected.

It currently isn't.

But there's very simple ways around it.

Yeah, I... Do you know, I try to... I spend so much time obsessing over this that I try and understand where people are coming from.

And I think when you're in a community, and I think this comes down to community, it's really, really hard not to be part of that community.

I know when, in my own sort of situation, when it came to that year of communion and there's a WhatsApp group of parents and so on, you know, there was...

We were the only ones that weren't going through with segments.

And essentially, we could have muted that WhatsApp group for three months and no one would have noticed we weren't there.

And it's hard.
