All right, now's time for some personal questions, some life questions that are still related to money, because that is obviously what you are here for.

Now the first question goes, Hi Sim, will you be renting or buying in New York and how did you decide?

This is a good question.

So for context, my husband and I are both moving to New York and we looked at apartments and the apartment prices absolutely blew my mind.

Holy hit?

I was so not expecting what I saw.

I mean, I knew that apartments would be like maybe four thousand USD, five thousand USD a month.

But to see what five thousand USD a month could get you, that was the surprising part.

That was the part where I was like, Oh, okay, this is gonna be a huge lifestyle downgrade because our home in New Zealand is

We have grass.

We have sunlight, we have we don't have warmth 'cause we don't have double glazed windows, but we have like

an air conditioner unit and we have multiple rooms.

That's a pretty nice setup that I wasn't really aware was a privilege.

And then when we started looking at New York, it's very expensive.
