When we can properly stand in our energetic power without the brain fog, without the pain and without having to miss days and apologise, apologise for the symptoms.

Yeah, apologise.

And diminish and shrink and deny ourselves opportunities that men stroll into the office without a care in the world and just take up at the mantle.

When these things are increasingly eased for us and we get answers, the domino of that is that we have even more energetic power to take up space.

And I think so much is left not understood until you want a baby, you go for the baby.

But there's also a cohort of women that I'm now learning because I'm in it.

I've had my babies.

I had a period of calm.

Well, probably not calm, more so kind of menopausal submission.

because I breastfed for so long and now I'm 41 I've recently started taking a low dose of oestrogen and progestin because I was just feeling like that weight of I just don't feel like me anymore the anxiety the palpitations everything and my periods have come back like a demonic beast with a vengeance yeah

a beast and I sat down with my GP who has been fantastic and very you know open and extremely good listener at no point did I not feel not listened to but it was the first time that she said well tell me what were your periods like as a teenager?

And I was like, oh, awful, awful, fainting, vomiting, missing school, awful.

And it was somebody finally making me even connect the dots between this is still the same system.

It's still the same body.

I suppressed it with contraception.

I thankfully was pregnant twice, had my babies, breastfed for so long.

Didn't have cycles after my babies for a very long time.

Kind of forgot about the problem for a while because the job was done.

The babies were there.

They're growing up now.
