Digging into the detail on the positive front, full-time employment rose 17 points to 12.4, which is the highest reading since January 2024.

That was their Q2 bank lending report, which did show a tightening in corporate credit standards.
The report noted that perceived risk to the economic outlook and banks' lower risk tolerance remained the main factors contributing to this tightening as banks remain highly attentive to risks related to the geopolitical and energy developments.
But also interesting, the report also noted that housing loans increased
had declined markedly.
And what was driving that was seeing a deterioration in consumer confidence amid the changing in interest rates, which was seen as the main drag on housing loan demand.
So sort of a bit of a negative there on the housing market.

So if we dig into the detail, uh headline inflation fell by point four percent in June.
Um and this was the largest decline recorded since the pandemic.
Um and interestingly, this result came in outside of the range of economists' forecasts.
So economists' forecasts r range between a fall of point three to a rise of a rise of point point three.

A big miss there.
Um, driving the decline in in the headline print was a nine point five percent fall in in energy.
