The good news is there's no one specific type of lifting you have to do
You don't have to do nonstop circuits if that's not your thing.
You don't have to train like a bodybuilder if that's not your thing.
As long as you are doing some form of challenging your muscles on a consistent basis, and I know you had a question the other night about how often does that mean.
Obviously, there's a lot of variables involved, but I would agree with you that probably two to three days a week is a really great starting point.
And even if one day a week is all you can do, you will still see health benefits from one day a week.
Yes.
I will say from my personal experience and my practical experience,
My observation is that people tend to struggle less with exercise than they do with diet.
I think part of it is that exercise is something you do in a finite period of time and then you can move on with your day.
Whereas nutrition is you have opportunities all day long.
It doesn't turn off.
That's my thing.
And also, a lot of people actually do enjoy exercise, right?
And they might feel less resistance to it.
No, of course, this doesn't apply to everyone.
It doesn't apply to everyone.
Some people still struggle.
But there's a lot less, there's a lot fewer complex feelings, right?
with exercise all the time.
