I love a corn salad in the summer.

I just love fresh corn right off the cob, not cooked.

combined with fresh juicy tomatoes, ripe tomatoes, not green ones.

And avocado is so good it adds a little bit of creaminess and richness.

And then all of that in a lime dressing is just kind of my go-to combination of flavors.

But then for dessert, I want something really special.

So you have these crispy things, these fried things that are all vegetarian.

It's all a celebration of produce.

And also in the summer, it's apricot season.

And I just do you love apricots?

I completely agree.

And they to me they also have a very floral note.

Apricots have such a distinctive flavor.

There's almost nothing like it.

So I always overbuy and then I'm like, what do I do with my extra apricots?

And I love making simple cakes with them, or sometimes I make muffins.

There's this recipe for an apricot coochin with lobna whipped cream.
