It has so many surprising twists and turns.

It's definitely to me like the perfect vacation book.

And anyone who cares even remotely about food or food media or cooking or friendship, I don't want to spoil anything.

But I feel like it delivers on all those counts.

And what you're really talking about in the book is someone who –

ends up being a ghostwriter for a celebrity cookbook and for a not so easy to work with celebrity, which may, you know, often be the case for ghostwriters.

So after two decades of writing about food and being a food blogger, you, what made you turn from writing recipes to writing a novel and was anything based in real life experience?

Oh, wow.

I support everything that woman does.

I listened to her memoir on audiobook.

And it was like, such a joy.

I think it was better than I could ever be reading it, honestly, because you get to hear her voice.

But there's so many details in your novel, Adam, that

feel like written for true food lovers.
