Of course, if you're not a big cook, you would still enjoy it.

But I love the kind of, I don't know if they're Easter eggs or just, you know, just like little moments that really feel like for any insider jumps off the page.

And you mentioned several really significant cookbooks in there that you haven't yet mentioned.

You mentioned the Zuni Cafe cookbook, the Chez Panisse cookbook, the Aubergine of the Flowering Heart, which I think is such a lovely one to mention.

And so you clearly have such a wealth of knowledge on the subject matter.

In terms of food writing and those incredible voices in food writing, is there anyone that you really admire and look up to?

Nora Ephron is in my top three, for sure.

Yeah, she's I mean, again, these are all legends, but there are sometimes people miss them.

You know, I don't know that everyone's seen Lydia Bastianich's PBS show.

It's a treasure.

And it's like, it's very calming to all those shows to me.

It's like if I'm having a sick day, I just want to get into bed and watch Ina and Lydia and Julia even.

That's actually a good tip.

I actually have a friend who tells me that she falls asleep to our podcast for that reason.

So anyway, it was like a but I take it as a compliment.

She said she finds it very soothing.

right i mean talking about food i think can be especially depending on who's delivering it so going back to your novel which actually inspired a lot of these questions because there's so much there you have these two main characters who are diametrically opposed one who is an experienced avid home cook who has a true talent but also endless curiosity for cooking and another character the celebrity

who can't chop kale, can't do basic skills.

And in this course of the novel, you're having the cook sort of try to bring the non-cook into food and get her excited about cooking.

So this made us wonder, is there any recipe that you think is a gateway for a home cook to get excited about cooking?
