And I think that's why the word acceptance is a little funny there because we don't mean accept as in like, okay, I'm fine with it.

I'm not going to resist it.

We mean accept in that you're no longer mentally rebelling against it.

You're no longer saying this can't be happening.

I won't accept this.

you know, fuck, you know, fuck this.

You're, you're saying like, here's reality.

And now I'm going to operate like under the assumption of reality rather than the, like, you know, my, my mind saying, no reality can't be happening.

Yeah, so 32% said they experienced loneliness or isolation, and 28% said they experienced relationship difficulties connected to their work.

So, you know, fairly common.

Not most people, but fairly common.

In the open-ended responses where people could write anything they want about, you know, what are the psychological challenges you're facing in your work, only about 13-ish percent kind of brought these issues up.

So it was a little bit lower.

So it was usually not sort of the number one problem people face.

But yeah, it's definitely something people face for sure.

Yeah, so there have been a few times in my life where I've been talking to people about my views on AI and they have kind of dismissed them and that felt bad.

And I think that that can be, you know, that's a real thing that can happen when you have views that are sort of out of sync with broader society.

However, I do think that there are techniques we can use to help us feel connected to people and even get empathy if that's what we need from our friends and family.

even if they disagree with us on the claims about what we're grappling with.

So for example, even if they think, oh, AI is not a big deal.
