He missed some time with the injury last year.
I thought he had a great start to the year, then he got hurt right before he came back, another setback.
So he didn't play a lot of games, but I think when he was in the lineup and he was playing with Leon, he was really effective.
He's also had a pretty good history with Mike Babcock in Toronto.
His two best years as a pro were in Toronto with Babs as a coach.
So that's positive.
I think when your coach is really pushing to bring a guy back, I think the speed, the physical side of his game, and when he's on, he's a very effective player.
We like that part of his game.
And then Max Jones and Joseph are the other two guys that, you know, starting with Max, I thought he came up late in the season and gave us a real jolt of energy to our team.
He's an upbeat guy.
Guys like him.
Guys like him.
He's always got a smile on his face.
Even when he's not maybe playing every day or as much, there's no complaints.
He's maybe sounds like a small point, but
He brings energy to the group, and we like that.
He was a very effective player for us.
And Matthew Joseph, he's always been known as a high-tempo player.
So his ability to kill penalties, I think, is going to be important for our group.
DJ has an experience with him years ago in Ottawa, but most recently in Los Angeles at the deadline they got him, and DJ took over as coach.
