So I think there's a lot of reasons for excitement.

get the Stanley Cup winning goalie to come to your team the next year where we did with the contract itself.
Yeah, we were hopeful.
We didn't know exactly what role we thought pods could play.
You know, I had a lot of positive reports on him through his draft year, even his first couple years pro.
The thing we loved about him was his competitiveness.
And, you know, sometimes when you think of a Russian player, it's the high skill.
And I think maybe that's why some people might not be as excited about him.
But when you look at what he brings to the table, he's got that incredible competitive nature.
He never gives up on a play.
He's physical.
He's tough.
He hits hard.
He does everything that a lot of players aren't really that interested in doing.
The hard work on the line to get the puck back, to finish the check, get the other team.
to unload the puck when they don't want to because he's on top of them all the time so he was a guy that we we hoped would find his way he was still unproven really at the nhl level when we acquired him but here we are a couple years later he's emerged as a really important player for our team and everyone loves to play with him so when you talk to our players about uh who's a favorite line mate his name always is at the top of that list all right a quick thought on uh captain and jones coming back
