So there were price points for everybody. We were doing minis and big ones. And even a lot of people were bringing in their old engagement rings that they weren't wearing and saying, I want to give this new life. And we I personally love it. I still wear mine all the time. It was rose gold. I've since changed it to platinum because I wear that now for my more dressy occasions. It's cool.

I think most people find some symbolism in the two stones. I think initially it's meant to be a representation of you and your partner. For me, it's a representation of my two kids. And I know that each of them will get one of those stones one day. So I think there's really something special to that.

you know, from an overall like value perspective, when a client is considering one big stone or two smaller stones. There's definitely trade-offs each way, but you definitely get a bigger overall impression when you have two stones side by side. And people really liked that.

And there's definitely a lot of talking points about, you know, why you chose those two different shapes or two different colors. And I think it's just a really fun way to bring conversation into the jewelry too.

Yeah. Right. Well, so we actually. I'm not wearing it today. I should have been. But I love the combination of two different shaped diamonds. I think it's really interesting. So I built out an entire collection called the Undecided Collection. And it used rounds and emerald cuts. The first piece was an eternity band that I designed for myself. So- top half was rounds, bottom half was emeralds.

And as the ring is moving on your finger, you're getting a different versions of sparkle. And so that's something we built out into studs. So now you're wearing one in one and a pendant. And, and so there are different ways to, you know, eventually kind of break that up into two pieces and refashion it. And there's also something fun to that too. Totally. I love that. I love that.

I don't. No, that's good. It is good. It's good. Some days I think I would love to have him in my business and he's, you know, my unofficial board of trustees, but, um, it is nice to have that separation and actually our offices are across the street from one another. So we commute together, but yeah, we have our own thing. Yeah, I love that.

Well, I mean, I'm bigger the better, right? I know. All right. So, oh, I'm coming back. Wait, what else is happening there?

I don't know if it is anymore. It's regulated. I mean, gold is up so much. So the difference isn't all that different. Yeah.

So my mom used to tell me I'm Queen Elizabeth because I'm matchy-matchy everything. So like if my shoe has a little silver detail, then all the jewelry has to be silver for me. I've done better at doing two-tone and mixed metals. And I actually, I wear this stack every day that's got all three. Yeah, see, I told you that, Kimmy. You mix it.

So this is my way of being like, all right, I match everything because I've got it all represented. But I would say yellow is my go-to for every day and white is my go-to for evening. Right.

I think rose gold is the only one that's tricky. If you're very fair, I think rose gold can kind of be washed out. But no, not really.

Step cut diamonds, what is that? Step cuts like the emerald or the asher. Again, emerald is like one of the two most classic choices for engagement rings, so I wouldn't consider that a trend. Yeah, and same with platinum.

Yeah. So this is an interesting and hot topic and colored stones and champagne. I think we're seeing a shift towards those for the same reason. I don't want to talk too much about lab grown because we don't sell it and I don't want to give it so much airtime. But I will say for those who want to buy natural products,

There has been some shift towards slightly more yellow or champagne diamonds because that is one way you can know that it is a natural diamond. They don't make lab-grown champagne or yellow. So that's one way that I know that if you're wearing that, I know that you're wearing natural. And I think there's something to that. So interesting. And then just with the way...

Lab Grown has sort of defeated the confidence of the buyer about diamonds. There's just so much confusion. And I think the younger generation doesn't quite understand what the difference is. So they are going towards gemstones that they feel like they have a little bit more confidence in.

Okay, no, what am I talking about? Slightly... Off-white is what we would call it. It's more yellow on the scale, but still technically considered a white diamond.

But for the younger generation who's making a decision how they're going to spend these first big dollars, I think... There is something to knowing that you're buying natural, knowing that what you're buying is going to hold value.
