And I think there's a little somewhat, the more enthusiasm to Harris means that Democrats are more enthusiastic about answering pollsters and taking polling calls, which we do some adjusting for that in waiting and making sure that we have the right balance of the sample.
But yeah, that's also the greater enthusiasm now is reflected in what we see, the more money, the stronger support, the rally crowds, and then
if we're able to have normal in-person GOTV campaigns this year, which you weren't able to do in 2020, turn that enthusiasm into votes.
It used to be a lot more normal to see large swings in races.
I mean, the 2000 presidential election,
like George Bush was leading in double digits all throughout 1999.
He was leading all through the summer.
And then Al Gore's convention in his speech upended the race, and he was leading in the high single digits for basically about a month after the convention.
And we used to actually see large swings in presidential races.
I mean, Mike Dukakis was ahead by 17 points in 1988.
Things do change.
It's harder to see now because we are so set in
in how we're gonna vote.
But it's not so much like moving back from Trump to Kamala.
It really is just like different levels of enthusiasm on each side.
And that's what we're seeing now.
And that we were under enthused when Biden was the nominee, more enthused with Kamala as the nominee.
And the key challenge now is just keeping that going for 90 days.
