And I always said this.
I said, once you get to that point, when your team is like a Brett Veach or a Howie Roseman, and you have these rosters that are stacked, obviously the one position that's hard to find is a pass rusher.
So I would absolutely package deals up if I could go get one.
The one thing I've always said, Colin, is you look at the NFL draft, and then you weigh that with free agencies.
Very few times are there times where left tackles, pass rushers, quarterbacks, elite players at those positions are in free agency.
So to me, I think, you know, you got to go try to build through the draft and that's your lifeblood.
And I think obviously Brett Veach has an opportunity here to make some hay.
Well, I mean, I think there's one thing that we talk about all the time, Colin, and it's we go out in the fall and we fall in love with football players.
And in the springtime, we confuse ourselves with measurables, you know, whether it's the arms aren't long enough or their hands aren't big enough.
At the end of the day, you know, to me, you know, you look at a player like him and he may not be the sexiest player on the board.
But you look at guys like Lamar Woodley from the past and you look like guys like Brandon Graham, who have been tremendous, tremendous NFL football players.
They were maybe sort of discounted at some point in time because they weren't long enough.
They weren't fast enough.
But they're just tremendous players.
And that's what we get away from with the NFL draft at times is what good football players are.
I will say this.
It's hard to stick by when you say best player available.
I obviously preached that for years.
Yet at the same time, when need comes into play, I mean, it's a tough struggle.
