And he uh I he actually talked about how um you know he even that he knew there was something not right about the job.
He said that he should have called it off.
He said they were they were sent in this car that he, you know, they had to he had to you could only start it by pulling a bit of string.
They were only giving one gun gun, which he said wasn't a very good gun.
So that everything was everything screamed, there's something not right.
So even back then he thought uh we're being got rid of or we're being set up.
The guy they the target they went to shoot um wasn't there.
Um they ended up shooting some other guy.
They didn't die, but he um he they made their escape.
He was supposed to drive through the city hospital, um what his orders were, and that was supposed to be his getaway, but he did he felt if something wasn't right, he went home a different way.
Eventually the police, he knew the police were coming for him.
So the police caught up with him, and I think the next the next day.
And he was arrested and he claims that uh like a a s a a senior special branch officer basically ticked the door in and uh said, you know, you you were you're lucky you didn't go through the city hospital.
We had a team waiting for you kind of thing.
So he he he sort of felt he he he he was justified in thinking, yes, we're being set up here.
So
Uh he definitely th he definitely looking back, I think, over uh the that you know, the that MI five, special branch, security sort of you know s the the shadowy people who sort of p pull the strings.
Um, he feels that they they basically they they were running a lot of the loyalist paramilitary groups.
And you know, in the same way that they were running the um, you know, the the IRA with steak knife, you know, it's it's in a very similar
