Here's how it's being misrepresented, you know, and here's the biases in it and how people are thinking about it.
Well, that's a pretty wonky thing that is specific to medicine in how I formulate it, because there is a movement of evidence-based medicine, and you can't apply it to all fields, but this is sort of developed within the context of medicine.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And there, the difference is evidence-based medicine tends to focus too much on just the clinical evidence without taking into consideration the prior probability or the scientific plausibility.
Right.
And the problem is you can't do that, right?
You just can't do that.
You can't do that even statistically or scientifically.
You have to consider any evidence in the context of prior plausibility.
So that's what science-based medicine is.
Science-based medicine also takes other things more explicitly into consideration.
It's basically what EBM should be.
We're like, now you're kind of doing it wrong.
This is how you have to do it.
And I just wrote an article on science-based medicine about this, how the death of EBM is what I called it because the World Health Organization came out with, we talked about this on the show, their 10-year plan for promoting alternative medicine.
And it represents everything wrong with evidence-based medicine, where you could basically call anything evidence-based.
It just becomes a marketing term.
But they're doing it wrong.
Yeah, and worse than that, and they always give the game away, and I don't think they even realize they're doing it.
