That was heartbreaking.
To me, I believe it is 100% disqualifying.

And again, I was heartened by Jay Clayton's nomination because I think he has a lot of experiences that could be good in that role.
But the only job, the only job of the intelligence community is truth to power.
All it is.
And you can look at failures, times when we've been wrong, all that kind of stuff.
But there's a difference between error and malfeasance.
He had to know this question was coming.
It's been the question that everyone's been asked.
And I'm glad they keep putting it forward.
And that was what he came up with for this position.
I don't want to say it, but I'm going to.
You might as well shut down the community because now how can we have any confidence, especially on the backs of what happened under Director Gabbard where we know that inconvenient assessments like the one of Venezuela, people lose their jobs over because it wasn't convenient.
You've lived through that.
You're seeing what happens now.
When you don't have an intelligence community and a state and a diplomatic community that is in full fighting trim.
And then he comes in and says that?
That is so weak ass.
