You know, so like most of those players are talented at both.

But now you're right, there are careers for them in going to Australia.

And I suppose that's a life change for them as well.

And there's also the rugby now are putting in those structures.

So that's a big draw on the players.

You know, we only have a small pool of players.

We're a small enough country, you know, so it's really trying to put in some of those professional or more elite pathways for our younger players.

And, you know, I think we've been saying it for years.

And, you know, I think of players that have fallen through the loop that were really, really good, talented, very, very good, talented players.

players at 17s and 19s and they're probably some of them are probably still playing now but they haven't progressed to the level that they were capable of because those structures weren't in place for them you know so i think that's something that really needs to be addressed if we want to continue to have um conveyor belts of players coming up to the national team and pushing or being ready to step in when some of those players move on and juliana the league club's the best place to do that or should this be more centralized to try and

Well, for sure.

I can answer for myself for sure.

If anyone asked me for any insights or from experience, you know, any ideas, I'd certainly be happy to sit down and chat with them, you know, because even what Julian mentioned there about central contracts, I mean, that's something that I had tried to introduce way back in the day when I was in the FAI.

And again, it was down to resources.

It just wasn't there.

I think our emerging talent programme, which was also introduced back when I was there, that's been cut.

I think my understanding now is that there was a TY course for girls again.

I think that's been cut at the end of the year.

So there's loads of things you can do, but it does need resources.

I would like to think the will is there, but the resources have to be found from somewhere to try and do that because
