The other thing that I will say in terms of what Ben Shapiro said, let's fact check him.
It's all incorrect.
A medical examiner who performed George Floyd's autopsy testified in the 2021 murder trial that law enforcement's restraint and the compression of George Floyd's neck was just more than he could take, given his heart's condition.
That's a quote.
The Hennepin County medical examiner named Andrew Baker ruled Floyd's death a homicide and listed the cause as, quote, cardiopulmonary arrest complicating law enforcement subdual restraint and neck compression, end quote.
He also said that Floyd died due to loss or deprivation of oxygen caused by the neck restraint placed on him by the police.
And then finally, he concluded, this is a medical professional, that Mr. Floyd's use of fentanyl did not cause the subdual or neck restraint.
His heart disease did not cause the subdual or the neck restraint.
This is testimony that was put into the record.
So with that being said, this excited delirium argument that we hear many times from the right, that we hear many times
from conservatives, so-called conservatives, like Ben Shapiro, has its basis in white supremacy.
Oftentimes, in the 1700s, 1800s, and even well into the 60s, anyone that studies history knows that Black men in particular
