So, Sonny, let's talk about the newest news of the day. Okay. So I want to show you something that happened at the White House. Those briefings are so frustrating.

Yeah, that's a great question.
Nobody challenges him. I'm pretty sure he does not want anybody from The View in the briefing room. That's pretty clear.
But you're a journalist. You can be allowed access.
Hey, I go to the White House Correspondents' dinners. And I am a legal journalist. I have my five Emmys to show it and my DuPont Award, I might add. But I think that this is an unprecedented attack on the freedom of the press. The fourth estate is there for a reason. We've got three co-equal branches of government. You've got the executive branch, legislative branch, the judicial branch, and really the fourth estate is you've got the press. And most dictators and fascists and autocrats, they don't like it. And I think that's what we're seeing. It's pretty simple. Yeah, it's pretty simple when you just step back and take a look at history. You know, I know we're trying to erase history in this country right now.
But when you just take a real hard look at history, the playbook was written way before Project 2025. And one of the plays is attack the press, control the press, have state sanctioned press. And then the people only know what you want them to know. And so when there are voices like mine and voices like yours, it makes someone like a President Trump extremely uncomfortable.
Yeah, it does. And so what gets me is that the press secretary just kind of runs all over people and goes to the next person. And I think many times they forget that they work for us. They work for the American people, not the other way around. Absolutely, not the other way around. Now, this was a plot twist to me today. Now, I don't know if I can bank on it, and I don't know if you'll bank on it, but it's certainly a plot twist to me.
