I think if you look at the young people entering the workforce, I think AI might be the bit rather than minimum wage.
That's it.
And I suppose, you know, again, it is it's I think it's also looking at, you know, retail as a as a as a career path, as an attractive forced job.
I mean, again, I appreciate hospitality obviously plays a huge role in them and these kind of entry level jobs.
Again, this may be that people are staying in college longer.
We're very, very well educated as a country.
People are staying in school longer.
They're they're coming out of maybe college and into college.
you know, into their chosen industry and maybe not going through the, you know, as you said, that kind of part-time retail job, you know, in order to build up skills.
So I think that there's a lot going on, I think, in this space.
But I mean, ultimately, the only reason the three of us are having this conversation today is that we are employed to do so.
We are paid to do so.
I mean, a wage has to cover your costs.
It has to be linked with
You know, the roof over your head, food on the table, the heat bill, light bill.
I mean, and I think retailers, I think, again, are feeling those cost pressures.
Energy bills must be massive for retailers, rents, rates.
And I think insurance as well is a huge, huge, huge thing now for retailers, particularly in the last couple of years and particularly for those in the bigger centres.
I suppose, again, we are talking about very, very, very low pay.
So that 40% increase, we're not talking huge money going into that 40%.
