Absolutely.

And it's been interesting that Spain and indeed the rest of the EU have been very careful in the language they're using towards Morocco.

Evidently, Madrid doesn't want to antagonize Morocco.

It needs to work with Morocco in order to resolve this specific situation.

And of course, going forward, the EU has been saying here privately that it's a good relationship with Morocco.

It has an association agreement with the country.

And importantly, that Morocco has been designated as a so-called safe hub, return hub.

In other words, people who arrive in Morocco, most of them under this new EU asylum and migration pact that came in after years of negotiation, most of those would have to go back to Morocco because it's deemed to be a safe place.

Now, some people may have genuine asylum applications that are upheld, but the EU is saying most of these people don't have a right to come to the EU and they would be sent back to Morocco.

But I think as this goes on, obviously there was a role of disinformation.

And we know that there has been concern that other actors, Russia perhaps, was there an involvement there in terms of dissemination of social media?

Obviously senior figures, including Donald Trump himself in the White House, has seized on these images

to argue in favour of his own migration policy.

But the reality is, even in countries, and as you said there, we had the predictable response from countries with more right-wing governments like Georgia, Maloney and Italy, but even countries that don't have very right-wing governments, what they're worried about is the threat from right-wing parties.

So, for example, Germany...

Friedrich Merz, he was one of the signatories of the letter at the weekend and they are looking at a potential challenge there from the AFD, that far-right party.

So most of the countries, as we know from the scale of the support for this letter, are worried about migration as a domestic political issue, even if in reality none of these migrants were ever going to reach the European Union that arrived last Thursday and Friday.

Well, I mean, this is a huge factor here.

I think everyone has accepted the fact that social media disinformation played a role here.
