And I asked that question of the Mystics assistant coach, Rob Wright, who is an Australian and has coached teams in the SSN competition.

And he believes that the Australians would consider it because it makes it more of a global competition.

And it's always been Netball Australia's aim to make their competition the very best in the world.

And he thinks that if a Kiwi team comes in, that will bring more eyeballs, that will bring more sponsorship and make it more like a WNBA in the US basketball scene.

So very interesting to see what the Australians decide, whether they do open it up to a New Zealand team or possibly two New Zealand teams.

But I think there's plenty of Australian clubs that want to be in there as well.

Yeah, I think that if it did happen and New Zealand lost the Mystics to Australia, there are a couple of options there that they could consider.

And one of them is having our domestic competition here at a different time of year.

So either, you know, earlier than the Australian competition or after it, that would allow...

players to play in both.

Now, of course, you have to be careful because of the international windows and the pressure that it puts on players, puts on their bodies if they're playing in three major competitions, say, in a year.

So the other option, of course, that the Mystics are considering is if it does happen, that they have two teams.

So an Australian-based team and a New Zealand-based team.

It'd be really interesting to see if they could keep the Mystics name and whether that belongs to the franchise or if it's tied up with the ANZ Premiership.

They may have to have a completely different name to play over there.

But when you look at the success of New Zealand teams going and playing in Australia,

with the Phoenix and Auckland FC in the A-League and the Phoenix women this year.
