Technology zones are something that are used throughout the entire state.
Prince William County does not have one.
All of our other employers have them.
There are certain tools within the legislation that you generally have to do with your gross receipts, your BPOL tax,
as well as permit fees.
But that can be, that can, while it doesn't always necessarily drive a financial need, what it does do is it signals to the market that we want technology, we want tech employers.
And that's why that's an important tool.

Fairfax adopted theirs about five years ago.
