that begs a follow-up question well sir first of all do you under mr president mr former president can you do you i don't i'm not trying to be offensive but how would you describe a tariff because we got to now go back to the basis of economics because you don't even know what a tariff is it's a tax on the consumer because the producers and right they end up passing it along um
And then child care, which is the biggest bill for many families.
It was a word salad answer.
But my point here is that the New York Times covered that.
And the way that they wrote it up is that they seem to decode what Donald Trump said.
And the write-up that I read and the article that I read, it made him sound coherent.
And there was not, they said, you know, his plan was tariffs.
And there's some consternation.
No, there ain't no consternation.
Tariffs ain't going to pay for child care.
I'm sorry.
It's not going to pay for child care.
And so I just think in this election,
Vice President Harris, she needs to answer direct questions.
And she did that yesterday.
I think she has been doing that, I think, definitely more consistently.
And I think she's going to continue to do it because that's the only way she's going to close the gap and get elected.
But we cannot demand these things of the vice president that we are not demanding of Donald Trump.
This false equivalency, it actually drives me crazy.
