And I think a lot of these platforms like Raise and others similar to that are really good entry points when you're starting the investing journey.
But it's pretty natural to cross a certain threshold and then want something that's a little bit more granular and allows you to have greater control.
So it doesn't mean that Raise is bad or that any of those other accounts
types are bad.
They just serve a purpose for a dedicated point in your life and then you transition away from it.
With kids specifically though, there's a bit of a structural issue because as you've mentioned, there's the raise specific account for kids, which allows you to essentially invest on their behalf and
And it's kind of held in, I guess, an informal trust sort of structure.
Certain brokerage accounts will or will not allow you to set up that sort of structure.
So that's a really important one to consider before moving away is whether or not you still want to maintain that same approach.

If you want to move on to something else, there's loads of different options.
Like you can still use an alternative broker platform that allows you to still set up a kid's account.
So something like Perla, for example, ComSec also have a kid's investing option.

And so essentially with that option, you can select to invest under your own TFL?
Yeah, and you can choose to invest, yes, under your own TFN, which means along the way you're kind of paying tax on their behalf, or you can set it up under the child's TFN.
So along the journey they're paying tax, just being very wary, obviously, of minor tax rates.
