It's completely bananas.
So at some point they're going to start thinking, what else could we be spending this time doing?
Do we really have the luxury of spending all this time jumping through all these hoops for pride?
You know, this just doesn't seem, this just doesn't,
frankly, doesn't seem sensible.
And it's a question that gives senior leaders the perfect excuse to drop the whole thing.
So coming to reason number seven is that it's just no longer fashionable or fresh.
And I think we've known about that it's sort of going out of fashion for a long time, but I'd like to talk a little bit about the fact that it doesn't feel fresh anymore.
It doesn't feel fun.
Everything looks very tired and
The physical bunting and stuff looks tired.
The messaging is tired.
I'm wondering if these activists have chosen the wrong tactics.
What they seem to be saying is give us money to be on the right side of history and because we're not doing well and we feel really sad and we're really up against it and everything is against us and all the politicians are against us and the media is against us.
I just don't think that's a winning narrative.
These sorts of employers like to be associated with things that are fun and successful and feel good.
This feels like kind of a downer and it just doesn't feel positive.
And I think this year the activists really, really suffered from the fact that the World Cup was also on during June and it's genuinely more feel good and more fun.
It also has bunting and visible displays of it.
