And uh obviously July nine is uh the important date there.
And uh I heard uh Treasury Secretary uh Bissent talking about well it's really uh up to Trump whether that deadline is extended or not.
So uh still unclear whether that's a hard deadline for for the US administration or whether it's a little bit more softer there.
But I guess we'll just have to wait uh for next week on that.
But if that deadline were to be extended, then I think that just continues for some
firms out there uh the uncertainty in terms of the level of tariff.

Yes, uh I it will be definitely interesting and uh with w without prefacing anything in terms of uh what will be discussed on that podcast, uh the just worth noting the retail uh trade numbers that came out early this week is based on a survey and the household spending indicator is actually based on harder harder uh harder data such as bank transactions data.
So um I think it'll be very interesting to see what it says.
Um at least uh the retail sales data for
early this week for May, disappointed, uh rising just zero point two percent month to month.
So we'll be looking at that household spending indicator quite closely, see if actually the transactions data was saying um something a little bit more stronger there.

Uh yes, a a big surprise on the weekend, but maybe not a surprise for for some people out there.
Uh some people who are quite astute were monitoring uh pizza traffic around the Pentagon on uh on Thursday night.
And there are a lot of reports on Exit about how there was heightened ac activity around pizza shops.
And generally when you do have US military intervention, um that correlates with that, but obviously it's not not necessary.
the time but uh I think uh although President Trump said uh there was that two week window, I think a lot of people did think that um something was going to happen uh r relatively soon uh in terms of that.
But the headlines that we do know is obviously those um those nuclear enrichment sites were were were were bombed and I guess the fallout really is is uh what does Iran do in reaction to that?
