I think if we could just stay on the trajectory that we were born with, which was we were not born hating our bodies, right,
That's the opportunity.
And I think that's the work that I do at the charity now as we're getting younger and younger with this message.
So we cannot have to fix the problems that so many women have had for decades.
No, and we just got off course, you know, some more than others.
And I think that's the, you know, if we really distill it down, it just doesn't have to be so complicated.
We were not put on earth to hate our bodies.
We were not meant to be at war with our bodies.
And I think it's not an easy place to sit for many people because they've spent so much time hating their body, putting themselves on the sideline of their life, not participating in events because of how they look.
There's a lot of regret and there's a lot of sadness and trauma that sits around this subject.
But if people can lean into that discomfort and
and sit in that and go, oh, my gosh, I've wasted so much time.
What am I going to do now?
What choice am I going to make?
I think that's what I want people to know is that we get to make a choice about this no matter where we are in our journey to embracing our bodies.
Then we get to do something about it.
It's certainly not linear.
It's not sort of, oh, yeah, one day you'll just wake up and embrace your body and off you go because, you know, for women in particular,
Puberty, pregnancy, perimenopause, breastfeeding, miscarriage, like our bodies do so much in our lifetimes.
It never stands still for one moment, does it?
