Um, they're actually creating a registry so they can understand who owns what of a healthcare entity within Washington.
So those are just a few Vene uh Vermont, Connecticut,
Maine and Washington, others that uh
You know, should be mentioned, Massachusetts, Illinois, North Carolina also have
several bills either pending or continued to be um put up each year.
So I would keep an eye on those states and I'm sure that there are others because I think again from the steward and prospect closures, there are a lot of states that set that are very worried about similar disruption to their healthcare landscape and what that did to um patients and consumers.
And so there's a renewed focus on these

these legislative efforts and you can see them because similar ones are being proposed kind of across across various states.
I definitely think it and we we pulled some like uh some pitch book data and some other data.
It's definitely slowing deals down.
I think it it certainly is increasing the the level of diligence done to make sure that the structure is correct to begin with.
Um and in terms of these approval requirements or notice requirements, you're having to build in a longer runway until deals can be either signed in or closed.
Um and so based on that deal activity you did see kind of a dip in
um healthcare transactions.
And we also saw that, you know, kind of hold times increased for private equity deals.
It's usually five to seven years.
We saw a lot of investment during and around the pandemic.
And some of those funds and firms still hold those um those assets.
So it's been, you know, six, seven plus years.
