Right now it's just notice, not approval.
Um where some states do have approval.
There's the the interesting thing about Indiana though is there's no transaction threshold.
Basically they look at the assets under management.
They actually even use the term private equity partnership.
Don't define it because
There's a recognition that those arrangements can look a lot of different ways.
Um, and you have to give 90 days notice prior to any transaction involving a private equity partnership, but also just involving what they deem healthcare entities of a transaction.
They've been using from anecdotally from our experience and filing lots of these over the last several years that went into effect in 2024.
They're using this for data collection efforts.
They're um asking what other healthcare-related assets are owned in the state.
They're trying to understand and looking at the org charts, not even just of that entity, but saying, hey, this entity, but what other entities in the chain?
What other healthcare facilities do you or one of the buying or selling groups operate?
We've we've gotten a lot of follow-up requests on those information.
Also, last year's legislative session actually included a disclosure of ownership interest requirement through the state AG or through the state secretary of
Through the state's Secretary of State office.
So, um, in addition to the biannual reports, just notice of you know, how the entities stay in good standing, they actually have to disclose ownership if it's a healthcare entity through the Secretary of State's um
process.
We we haven't seen a cycle of those yet.
