Those those things happening all at once uh led to that kind of, you know, fallback in oil back towards seventy.

Um, and then, you know, the supply disruptions reemerge.

But those levers that were being pulled to bridge through the supply disruption, um, they can't go on forever and so

is certainly fragility around that and we've seen that in in the move here.

And so, you know, the paths forward remains very uncertain.

But, you know, obviously we've realized a very, very sharp shift in that kind of energy, oil, fuel uh price backdrop relative to where we were late in Q two.

Yeah, that's right.

So so bond yields higher, central bank pricing kind of creeping higher as well.

We kind of look across markets.

You know, we did have uh a pretty low initial jobless claims number out of the US, which, you know, at the margin would be further reducing uh the FOMC's near term um concerns around around the labor market.

Um, but you know, yields were already heading higher be before that data and they they continued to.

We've now got um about twenty six.

Basis points priced for the September meeting from the Fed.

So markets are certainly in increasingly comfortable that the um the next move from the Fed will be up and it could be quite soon.

Mm.

Um, and I think you know it it certainly seems to be kind of those inflation risks downstream from oil prices that have been in the in the driver's seats there.

That as I said, the move was kind of in train in the US before that those jobless claims data.

We've seen it.

Across markets.

And in that context, kind of if you look in Australia, we've seen a bit of underperformance in the front end of the Australian yield curve with kind of the employment data yesterday, which we'll speak to in a second, giving that a little bit of an extra boost.
