So um there are expectations that the services uh inflation will actually creep higher, as will the the core number on a on a year on year uh basis, and for that headline number, um expected to come in at at three percent up from from two point eight percent last time. voice-verified

Yeah, I think, you know, the the data flow has certainly come in a way that doesn't doesn't support that um that easing slander the short term. voice-verified

We've heard from from FOMC officials pretty consistently that um there is that that um chorus that was uncomfortable and dissented against the the easing bias at the previous meeting. voice-verified

The data flow since then has will have done nothing to to weaken that case. voice-verified

And so, you know, the widespread expectation here is that that um easing bias uh voice-verified

uh language that is included in that postmeeting statement will be removed. voice-verified

Um and their expectations, we do get a new statement of economic projections here as well. voice-verified

And kind of expectations are that the dot plot is likely to show that 25 basis points of of easing by the end of the year and the median dot come out as as well. voice-verified

It is worth saying here that kind of, you know, analyst expectations broadly, our um our view as well is that eventually the the direction voice-verified

direction to travel is is most more likely to be another couple of cuts rather than a hike. voice-verified

But certainly that's the timeline is is certainly extending uh you know out into out into to next year at this stage. voice-verified

We haven't heard much from Walsh recently and kind of how he's car um characterizing the kind of recent data flow in in terms of his views. voice-verified

And so I think the the press conference will be interesting from that perspective. voice-verified

And we'll be watching out for any voice-verified

indications he gives on how quickly he's he's likely to move in terms of some changes to um, you know, how the the the frameworks and especially the communication framework, which could be um something at the top of the to do list. voice-verified
