If you're going to want to progress, you're going to go up a step.

And my old coach used to say, at every level, there's a different devil.

So supposing you've gone from being an exec to leading a team of three and you think, I don't know how to do this.

I'm stuck.

And you, you know, you read some stuff and you manage your inner chatter and you get better at it.

And you've got your own manager who helps you.

And suddenly managing a team of three, you don't feel like an imposter anymore.

You only felt like it because you went into a different room.

You went to a different level.

Now, after a few years, you think I can do this.

You know, I'm ready for the next move.

And this is a bizarre thing.

We put ourselves in those situations often because we want the next move, next role, next progression level.

So then you go up another level and here, behold, there's another devil to deal with.

And you have to do the same thing.

So it's getting used to the fact that you will come across this every time you progress.

That's not to say that there aren't situations where you may find yourself in a boardroom, a meeting room,

And you're dealing with your own issues, but there are people who are not welcoming, who are quick to judge.

And that's a more business culture problem.

I'm only talking about the inner work to do.
